How Do I Use This Thing?

It's taken me a bit of time to understand how to use my new rotary cutter.  In theory it looks so easy.  In actuality, I'm not that good at it!  


I think once I get the hang of it, this device will save me loads of time.  You know what they say: "Practice makes perfect."  I'm not interested in perfect, but a semi-straight line would be good!
